Where this comes from
Unproven kinship
DOCUMENTED, AND THE IMAGE CANNOT CONFIRM IT — WHICH REVERSES THIS ARCHIVE'S USUAL RULE. Standesamt Wilmersdorf, Sterberegister 1993 Nr. 312, P Rep. 570 Nr. 3306. Both her entries were opened on 9 October: “Bade geb. Leibholz, Gerda Felicitas, 15.02.1993” on page 7 under B and “Leibholz, Gerda Felicitas, 15.02.1993” on page 74 under L, THE SAME NUMBER 312 FROM TWO UNRELATED POSITIONS SIXTY-SEVEN PAGES APART — the series checking itself. The page SCAN is a faint degraded photocopy and her line is barely resolvable, so there is no image confirmation; for these 1993 volumes the text layer is NOT OCR of that scan but a clean born-digital transcription, and it is the better witness. SHE WAS BORN A LEIBHOLZ AND MARRIED OUT, so she had Leibholz parents in Berlin within living memory and is the only one of the seven pointing upward. HER FATHER IS NOT REACHABLE FREE: the marriage indexes stop at 1944 and every volume tested is completely blind, and her index entry carries no birth date to narrow by. Sterberegister Wilmersdorf 1993 Nr. 312 would name her parents outright.
