These are the surnames carried by the people on the tree, in both of its lines.
They are not one family. The tree says which line is which in its own words, and each page here repeats
those words rather than add to them.
Every figure on these pages is counted from the register, the English line and the tree; none is typed.
A living person is counted and never named. Their names, relationships and place are on
their own pages, where the standard puts them. A name that appears here means a person who bears it has a
page, not that two people of one name are kin: the lines of the name keeps the
households of a name apart until a document joins them.
